Beautiful while male with a tabby rear and tail. Polydactyl, 9 years old.

Bertie was straying after being abandoned by his owner šŸ˜”. He was quite shy at first but has blossomed in foster and is enjoying belly rubs, strokes and playtime.

His fosterer Judi says ā€˜He is friendly, affectionate and loves a stroke including tummy rubs. Can still be nervous at times when out of his crate. At the moment he is preferring an empty litter tray as a bed šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø

Sweet temperament no swipes or bites.

Loves playing with his ribbons despite being an older gent.

When on his own he loves exploring his surroundings both up on shelves and under things.šŸ˜»ā€™

Bertie’s ears looked pretty bad when he came to us. Everything was ok when he had a full vet check, but his ears will need careful monitoring for changes as well as protection from the sun (like all white cats). If he does need surgery for this ear damage in the future, the rescue will cover the cost.

Polydactyl cats have more than the usual number of toes so he is quite special 🄰. His markings are very unusual too - if you didn’t see his tail and the tabby patch coming from it, you would think he was pure white!
