Rehoming

Not every cat in our care is shown below so please still complete our contact form detailing your requirements.

All the cats shown here are ready for their forever home, so please only apply if you are in a position to adopt. If you have a holiday planned you can still adopt an adult cat, providing you have someone who can visit your home to feed twice a day when you are away.

We welcome enquiries from anyone who meets our criteria, so please read our rehoming policy in full before contacting us.

Families with young children will certainly be considered, as we believe children and animals should grow up together. If prospective new owners are out of the house for long-periods of the day, we encourage them to have two cats to keep each other company.

Every cat we rehome will have had at least one vaccination, unless otherwise advised.

Elderly cats will be given a full vet check, and dental if required before being rehomed.

PCL operates purely on the generosity of the public, and our kind adopters. Due to this, we would be extremely grateful of a financial donation towards our ongoing running costs. Vaccination, microchipping, neutering, and flea and worm treatment for just ONE cat costs the charity over £130. This excludes food, litter, cleaning supplies and any other treatments required, so please give generously.

PCL is currently operating through foster homes only, so the number of cats and kittens we can rescue and rehome has been temporarily reduced. However, we are co-ordinating with other local rescues to help them rehome their residents where possible.

Cookie and Biscuit

Cookie - 2 year old, tabby and white female. Biscuit - 5 year old, semi long haired tabby female born 18/12/2020. Cookie and Biscuit were handed in as their owner couldn’t keep them. They were both scared coming in to rescue, especially Biscuit who has been quite shut down. Cookie enjoys being stroked, Biscuit is gentle and strokeable but isn’t seeking a fuss yet. Dizzy (darker, spotty tabby) and Dee (stripy tabby) - sponsor home needed.

Special sponsor home needed for 2 year old Dizzy and her sister Dee. Two very pretty tabby sisters who have grown up in foster, whilst waiting for their forever home. Dee is healthy, Dizzy has a heart condition which doesn't stop her doing much! She is now 2 years old and thriving! Luna (reserved)

2 year old tabby female. Luna was handed in along with pregnant Betty. Luna had kittens just 8 weeks ago, which had already all been given away. Their owner was unable to cope. Biggles

Tabby male, 2-5 years old. Biggles was unchipped and straying in Romford. He was initially thought to be female and possibly pregnant. At the vet, it was discovered that he was actually a neutered male! His swollen belly was because he was very constipated! Our vet said there are no concerns regarding his unusual eye - it does look like he may have had surgery at some point. Biggles was strokeable when contained in a crate where he could be reached. Elsa (reserved)

Friendly 3 year old black female. Poor Elsa has had a bit of a rough life. She’s already had 3 litters of kittens which either died or were given away. She’s now, thankfully, come into rescue because of a child’s allergy. She has now been spayed so there will he no more unwanted pregnancies and we will find her a safe, loving home.
