Adorable 10 year old, black female.

10 year old Jessie was a long term stray from Basildon and came into rescue heavily pregnant. She was thought to only be carrying 1 kitten, possibly 2, but did end up giving birth to 2!

Our warden, Andrea, and Jessie’s fosterer, Jeanette, are both totally smitten with Jessie. She's just the sweetest cat and has been a fantastic mum. Now the kittens are old enough, she’s finally had the dental she badly needed. She had to have several infected teeth removed - she’s always been so sweet natured, despite the pain she must have been in 😔.

Goodness knows how many litters of kittens Jessie has had, but she’s safe now and can finally retire from pregnancies and babies and find a loving home of her own ❤️.

Update June 26- Jessie has been in foster with Lynn for the last couple of weeks. Lynn adores her too:

‘I am Jessie's foster mummy at the moment and she is such a sweet natured adorable girl who so deserves a permanent loving home. She probably has one of the best temperaments I have ever come across in a cat and she is so loving and gentle. She loves a fuss and I'm sure she'll be a real lap cat when she gets the chance. Gorgeous Jessie will make a wonderful addition to some lucky person's family. I'm keeping everything crossed for her although I will miss this delightful little lady so much when she finds her forever home. Bless her. 😻😻😻’

Jessie is not keen at all on Lynn’s cat so we think she would like to be an only cat in her forever home. Such a shame as Lynn has fallen in love with her and would love to keep her as a foster fail 😕

Recent photos (August 26) - Jessie doesn’t have her tongue out all the time any more so her dental obviously had a big effect! She’s so sleek and shiny now 😍
