Mario and Luigi

Ragdoll cross brothers, 3 years old.

New home needed for 2 cats - to be homed direct from their current home. From their owner:

My name is Steve and I live in Great Yarmouth. I have two ragdoll cross brothers called Mario & Luigi (born September 2022) and they have lived with me since being kittens. They are neutered and microchipped and had their first vaccinations as kittens.

I am a stroke survivor and use a wheelchair, the cats are full time house cats, as an attempt at letting them out led to Luigi suffering a nasty bite from another cat which caused a bad infection. This caused a weight increase from medication and their reluctance to venture outside anymore.

Unfortunately in recent months, their housecat status has meant they climb and jump a lot which has resulted in some expensive disability equipment breakages and it is with an extremely heavy heart that I need to rehome them.

They are a loving placid pair who adore treats and chasing each other around. They are extremely friendly with new people. Mario has more of the ragdoll features than his brother Luigi. They have learned to live with the wheelchair and stay away from the wheels or if I’m trying to walk my daily steps.

I really want to rehome them as a pair as they are bonded, and probably would need to be the only cats as they’ve never had to live with others. It isn’t imperative they remain as housecats. In the right environment I am sure they would thrive, I was worried for their safety after the bite.
