Radish

Radish, black and white female, approx 8 years old.

Radish has been in rescue for a few months now. Our warden went to trap Turnip and Radish, along with Carrot, as an emergency, because their owner had sold his house and moved away. He was planning to just shut the cats outside and leave them! They were trapped in the garden and were heavily infested with fleas. Radish and Carrot had to have big dentals as soon as they came in, as their mouths were a mess.

Radish is the most shy of the 3. She was very, very scared when she first came in, hiding under a blanket, but has learnt to trust the volunteers and is more confident now - she was originally going to be homed with Turnip, but they have been separated as they weren't getting on in the confines of rescue.

Radish is particularly food motivated and makes little grunting and snorting sounds when there's something she really likes! She loves chicken and fish - the way to her heart is definitely through her stomach!

Radish is still a sensitive soul. She does get scared more easily than most of the other cats, so would really like a quiet home with a patient owner. With one to one care and lots of food treats to help her bond, she will thrive.
