Tabby and white male, approx 2 years old.
Pedro was straying outside some flats where he was quite badly abused by the residents. It's suspected that he was being discouraged from staying there by hitting and kicking him. When he came into rescue he also had paint on his ears so goodness knows what he's been through, poor boy. He was very hand shy but is learning to trust people again. He enjoys a gentle fuss and obviously wants love, although he can turn if he feels threatened.
Whilst Pedro was being neutered, the vet found 3 very old, non dissolving stitches under his tongue. That must have been very uncomfortable for him and we don't know why it was done.
Pedro needs a home where he can feel safe and learn to trust humans again in his own time.
