Minnie lived at PussyCat Lodge thanks to her looks. 14 years ago Jennie was alerted to a sensitive cat problem. An elderly couple had taken in 3 stray cats and omitted to have them neutered. Low and behold these 3 became 70! It took Jennie some weeks to gain the couples trust as they were convinced she was going to take all their cats. The sight that welcomed her when Jennie was eventually allowed access caused her many tears. Every door that was opened revealed litter upon litter of flea ridden, sickly kittens suckling from under nourished mums. On one particular day Jennie left the property with 15 very poorly kittens. By the time she reached PussyCat Lodge 3 had already died. Within 5 days a further 9 had died, leaving just 3. One of the kittens was the image of Jennie's very first cat. At every feed Jennie whispered to this poor little mite that if she made it she would have a home for life. She did and she had.
(Once neutered and given a clean bill of health by the vet all the cats were eventually re-homed. The 3 original cats were returned to their elderly owners who loved and pampered them to the end of their days).
