Alison Contact Alison	My name is Alison, I first found about Pussycat Lodge when a work colleague sent an email advertising an Open Day. As we were looking for a new cat, having recently lost our Black and White cat called Beryl, my husband and I decided to take our tin of cat food entrance fee and pay a visit. While enjoying the company of other cat people and various cats we happened to enter one of the pens and there saw our next cat, a black and white 14 week old called Tyson. We immediately fell in love with him and 2 days later took him home to introduce him to our grumpy but adorable tortoiseshell cat called Miffy. They lived together for 5½ years and although they tolerated each other they were never the best of friends. Sadly we lost Miffy at the grand old age of 18 years. Last year we decided the time was right to start looking for another cat especially as Tyson’s tabby friend next door was moving. One cat eventually turned into two tabby kittens, now ages 18 months. Poppy and Daisy have settled in well and eventually become good friends with Tyson. As a thank you to Pussycat Lodge for letting me have such lovely cats I thought it was time to become a little more involved and as they were looking for a new Membership Secretary I decided to offer my services.
