The kits have settled in so well. It's like they've always been with us already and we can't believe how they've taken to us. :-) We took them to the vet today as they have tapeworms, and also to arrange micro-chipping and further injections. At the Lodge they couldn't remember the kits names, so called them Winnie and Winston to have something on the paperwork. They are now called Laurence (as he is a fearless intrepid type like Laurence of Arabia) and Eliza (as in the King and I "Run Eliza run Eliza...." as Laurence is always chasing her to see if he can still get milk or just for a friendly mother son wrestling match :-)
I'll send you pix as soon as I get the bleeping PC sorted. I have some wonderful ones of the two of them sitting on different levels of the cat tree looking outdoors. There is so much for them to look at outside through the patio doors, they don't know what to stare at first! This morning at one time, we had 3 great tits, 1 starling, 1 jay, 1 crow and 1 very cheeky squirrel who took great pleasure digging up all my mum's pot plants. At this point I would normally dash outside and shoo said naughty squirrel off, but as the new arrivals can't go out yet (Laurence is 4 months old) I couldn't open the door and that damn squirrel knew it I'm sure ! ;-)
