I just wanted to update you on how our babies are settling in. We decided to re-name them so it is now Jake & Lucy (formerly Bubbles & Gravy) which they don't seem to mind. They have found their fave spots in the house and have started to get us into the routine that they want. In fact we are wrapped around their little paws! Lucy is the boss and makes the odd hiss at Jake but he just ignores her, although he did try to kiss her earlier much to her surprise! They were hand fed plaice yesterday to help them settle in & that went down very well as did the chicken breakfast. It is lovely having them both follow me around the house. They always want to know what we are doing! They have both had a good brush and plenty of cuddles and watched the cat video I put on for them earlier.
They have fluffed up our front room as it was far too tidy and adjusted the pile of the stair carpet as it was a little flat. In fact they are doing an overhaul of the kitchen as we speak! I think they had a party last night as when we got up they had been at the wine bottles and the laundry basket had been re-positioned. They have made good use of the litter tray as well and we found a few crispy crumbed presents waiting for us.
Generally they seem quite happy, pampered and hungry so I think they would like to stay. I'll keep you updated on their progress. Although Jake wants to have a go on the laptop now, I don't think you'd be able to understand it!
