Just to update you (and the website) I rehomed a cat called Clarabel last Sunday, (now called Stella, after the beer) and I just wanted to say that she has fitted in really well. She is a funny little thing, loves to play, almost knows her name now, and has the funniest habit of part purr/growl when you pick her up.
She is currently living in the dining room (she looks through the french doors to the garden, watching the squirrels and the birds) until she gets used to the other cats (I have another three), but they know she is there and she knows that they are there. Anyway it looks like she is here to stay, so I think that this is a success story.

Stella helping her Mum sew some curtains!
She is the funniest little thing you can believe, half in love with my large male cat Sherbert (who is similarly coloured, however 3 times her size), helping me with various tasks, on the computer and sewing up some curtains (how much help she is, is very debatable lol), and I have never known a cat who talks by growling and purring at the same time! Very odd. We are both pleased that we took her on, and she is very lovable, but I wonder if she is younger than originally thought as she still shows a lot of very kittenish behaviour.
Thanks and regards
